I see more guns and children being born everyday
Another mother will have to weep because you'd rob hers away
I guess your never gonna figure no man's bigger than the next
Instead of building you'll be killing and every man's getting vexed
So carry on

Carry On - Bran Van 3000

Man, I've been obsessed with this song lately. Dude. Bran van 3000. It's been ages since I've been able to listen to them. So on Thursday, I'm in 'Sounds' and I see this great big bv3 'Discosis' poster. So I stare at it for a bit, then I think. "Hey, maybe, seeing as they have the poster, THEY HAVE THE CD'S!" So I looked. And they had them. And I was like, yay.
So that was nice. Its such a good album. Heh, I should post the lyrics for Supermodel on here sometime. Good shit.
Erm. What else.
I finally did some work today. Which I'm glad about. Maths still shits me though. Vectors are evil. I have tons of Geography to do as well, which isn't fun. And uh. I guess thats about it. I've been on this whole downloading spree. Stuff I used to listen to ages ago. But its nice. Jimmy Eat World and Alkaline Trio mainly. Makes for good happy music.

Vectors are cool. :) But I must admit that I'm a math nerd. In college I minored in Mathematics (majored in the math-heavy field Computer Science).
I was listening to Alkaline Trio as I read your post (San Francisco), and right now I'm listening to Jimmy Eat World (but I admit I turned that on only after I saw your post). I have the Jill Sobule version of Supermodel sitting around here somewhere, but I've never listened to Bran van 3000. I should check it out since we listen to some of the same stuff. [And now my MP3 player has moved onto Good Charlotte - Boys and Girls].

Math

I plan on doing engineering.
Be very afraid of this plan. My degree was in the college of engineering and I had numerous engineer friends. The math they get into is scary to *me*. The lower level applied stuff was fine, but the higher realms like the advanced differential equations make me dizzy. On the other hand, the really high-level theoretical math is way cool for me (even though it is much less popular than the scary applied stuff).

I wish you luck. As I said, even within the field of mathematics, different people enjoy or hate different portions.
